Bioremediation Project Design

The Center for Innovation, Inc. (CFI) has developed biofilm technologies to remediate pollutants such as nitrate and acid mine wastes over the recent years. The developed field-tested approaches have shown a great deal of promise. We have demonstrated that biofilms can be formed in situ to provide contaminant containment and degradation.

 

CFI provides laboratory and consulting services in the development of cleanup strategies exploiting the remedial capabilities of microorganisms indigenous to contaminated environments.
